Each New Year brings the usual resolutions associated with diet, health and fitness.  Sadly these are often short lived as we lose the motivation to succeed from finding time to commit to exercise regimes, ridged diet plans and lack of support.  Over ambitious plans tend to fail.  However, if we chose to make small changes to our diet and lifestyles over a longer time we are more likely to achieve our goals - be it weight loss for a special occasion or for long term health benefits.

Change is happening!  The public are becoming more aware of the importance of good nutrition to lead an active and healthier lifestyle  but there is still much confusion  as to what makes a good diet?   What are good fats and which should be reduced or avoided?  And sugar - are people aware of the hidden types of sugars found in pre-packaged foods that are so convenient to prepare when we arrive home from a stressed day at the office!  Now could be the time think about these things and make some changes for a happier, healthier and fitter you.
